Final Major Project based on the novel Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, a novel predominantly set in a travelling circus in 1930s America. The concept centred around bringing characters true selves to the surface, showing what they may hide from an audience setting, through the their costuming as well as drawing from circus animal counterparts that many characters are often described like to create character and show the treatment of human and animal employee alike. This design process then evolved into a construction project with two of the final 10 designs chosen to make.
